Q: What is ADA Compliant?
A: ADA standards require a 1:12 ramp slope ratio which equals 4.8 degrees OR one foot of ramp for each inch of rise.
(Ex: 30 inch rise requires 30 foot of ramp length)
Q: How long will it take to install a wheelchair ramp?
A:Each installation varies depending on the ramp size and if any extra precautions have to be taken. Average installation time is 2 hours.
Q: What is the maintenance of a solid aluminum ramp?
A: Solid Aluminum ramps require very low maintenance. The aluminum never rusts. Use a broom or garden hose to remove dirt. Simply salt the ramp to melt ice or snow.
Q: Am I able to move my handicapped ramp after it has been installed?
A: Our ramp systems are modular and are able to be moved and re-installed after the original installation.
